One of our partners in Libya’s industrial-sustainability transition.

The Green Industry Centre, affiliated with Libya’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals, is part of the Libya Branch’s wider cooperation network. Its framework with RRSC Tunisia supports technical cooperation, carbon management and national skills development.

RRSC’s published programme describes institutional cooperation through the Ministry in Tripoli since 2024. The Green Industry Centre in Misrata provides a specialist partner for the industrial transition, bringing together research, cleaner technologies, energy and resource efficiency, advice and practical training.

The specific Centre–RRSC Tunisia memorandum addresses emissions, carbon-neutrality planning, environmental-audit expertise and exchanges with the industrial sector. It was signed by the Centre’s Director General, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Al-Taher Al-Aib, and RRSC Tunisia President Mohamed Lassaad Kedimi.

Benghazi and eastern Libya

Alongside this institutional cooperation, RRSC is developing its branch structure in Benghazi for eastern and southern Libya. Mohamed Lassaad Kedimi coordinates the Libya programme through the North African platform in Tunisia. These are complementary parts of the national network, with distinct partners and development pathways.

Ministry programme & supporting documents

The supplied Government of National Unity / Ministry of Industry and Minerals programme extract describes conditional second- and third-phase priorities. Progression depends on completion of the first phase and coordination and agreement with the oil sector, including the National Oil Corporation.

The Arabic extract identifies Dr. Hussein Faraj Al-Shtiwi (حسين فرج الشتيوي) in its signature block. The programme and the Green Industry Centre memorandum are separate documents.

A branch built on cooperation.

The Libya Branch is part of the RRSC network’s wider African presence and is designed to work in close relationship with local institutions and the Tunisia Branch.

We are proud to announce the opening of our official branch in Libya, in partnership with the Government of Libya and the Libya Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

Thanks to the outstanding work of Mr. Lassaad Kedimi, CEO of the Tunisia Branch, a memorandum of understanding has been officially signed with the Libyan Government to establish this new branch in Tripoli by 2026.

The Libyan Branch will work in close cooperation with our Tunisian Branch, creating a unique and profitable synergy for the benefit of both nations and the entire African continent.
