Augusto Innovation Hub: Rome meeting on geothermal energy and technological development
On 4 November 2026, Valentino Loforese, CEO and majority shareholder of R. Rockefeller S.C., attended a strategic meeting in Rome dedicated to Augusto Innovation Hub, together with Federico Foscale, the company’s President of Financial and Contractual Affairs.
The meeting brought together Fabrizio Crimi, President of Augusto Innovation Hub; Giancarlo Zema, Chairman of Giancarlo Zema Design Group; Jacques Maria Martelli, CEO of Augusto; and partners and Board members Gianfranco Scordato and Quirino De Ieso. Discussions addressed the project’s next steps and the participants’ shared development strategy.
A central topic was the RePG AGS geothermal pilot planned in technical partnership with Augusto Innovation Hub. The project aims to establish Italy’s first pilot of this technology and the first European field project of its kind, bringing engineering, research and digital innovation together around the development of advanced geothermal energy.
The participants also explored potential future collaboration in Super Intelligence and cybersecurity, considering further opportunities for cooperation in advanced digital technologies alongside the planned geothermal initiative.
These developments are connected to R. Rockefeller S.C.’s future Italian branch, under the leadership of CEO Francesco Cuccurullo and General Director Gianluca Annunziata. Following three years of preparation, the branch is scheduled to be officially activated in January 2027 and to serve as a base for European coordination.
