Today, The Rob Rockefeller Standard Carbon was represented at COP29 Finance Day by our EVP Valentino Loforese, who joined distinguished guests including Nariman Aliev, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Tourism of Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 and a close friend, as well as the grandson of Valeh Alasgarov, a prominent figure in Azerbaijan’s political and economic spheres and current Chairman of the Port of Baku and Alyat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ).

At the COP29 UN Climate Change summit in Azerbaijan, our EVP participated in pivotal discussions on climate investments. 

The session was moderated by Volkan Özdurmus, Sustainability Advisor to the Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey 🇹🇷, and featured key speakers including Nana Li, Head of Sustainability and Stewardship for Asia-Pacific at Impax Asset Management, Jon Moore, CEO of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, and Carolina San Martin, Sustainability and Energy Expert.

These sessions underscore the critical collaborations and leadership driving sustainable investments for a greener future.
