Inside Our Global Engineering Center in Bursa: Execution, IP, and Low-Temperature Geothermal Innovation

Yesterday, together with Engin AKEL, President & CEO of The Rob Rockefeller S. C. Türkiye Branch 🇹🇷, our Executive Vice President visited our Main Global Engineering Center in Bursa (Türkiye).
They were welcomed on-site by:
Huseyin Karayagiz — General Manager, Technology Engineering Center Türkiye
Hasan AYARTURK — Chief of Staff Engineer (Technical Direction)
For our Executive Vice President, it was a real pleasure to visit the entire center, engage directly with the team’s management, personally see many of our technologies and above all confirm the great professionalism and great passion that everyone has in our center.
Bursa represents a true flagship for our global engineering model: a place where industrial discipline meets advanced development, where execution is built on method, and where innovation is treated as a measurable outcome — not a slogan.
During the visit, our Executive Vice President toured the full facility and reviewed key areas related to development, testing, technical validation, and ongoing engineering operations. What impressed him most was the consistency of the workflow: clear technical ownership, strong coordination, and a culture that takes performance and reliability seriously.
Our Global Engineering Center is also the home of a substantial portfolio of intellectual property. Today, we have over 100 patented and certified innovations, covering different technology domains. This portfolio reflects years of structured engineering work: prototyping, field requirements, validation, and continuous improvement supported by a team that understands that real innovation must survive reality, not just presentations.
Among these proprietary solutions, a special place is held by our low-temperature geothermal power technology — one of the most distinctive assets in our clean energy strategy and, in many ways, a “signature” project for what we build as a company. It is designed to operate efficiently in conditions where conventional geothermal solutions typically struggle, and it is engineered with a practical approach: modularity, integration inside existing networks, and high operational stability.
What matters most is that this is not theory. It is technology developed through engineering, protected through IP, and built to perform in real environments.
This visit reinforced something we consider strategic: our Türkiye structure is not only a regional presence — it is a critical part of our global execution capacity.
The alignment between the Türkiye Branch leadership and our Engineering Center team is strong, and the results are visible in the quality of the systems, the maturity of the processes, and the seriousness of the roadmap.
We want to recognize the work and leadership of Engin AKEL, Huseyin Karayagiz, and Chief of Staff Engineer Hasan AYARTURK, as well as the full engineering and shift staff who contribute daily to transforming advanced concepts into operational solutions.
