Proud to see our Nepal Center at the forefront of AI and sustainable trade

Last week, Santosh Bhusal, President of the RRSC AI Center Nepal, represented The Rob Rockefeller S.C. as a panelist at Kathmandu University School of Management, contributing to a high-level discussion on “Harnessing AI for Sustainable Trade: Enhancing Data-Driven Decision Making.” This is exactly the kind of engagement we believe in: bringing together academia, government, industry, and the private sector around a shared commitment to responsible, impactful AI. The conversation explored how Artificial Intelligence can fundamentally reshape trade ecosystems from supply chain visibility and traceability to data-driven decision-making and the development of more transparent, resilient, and efficient trade infrastructures. What stood out most was the clarity of a message that resonated across every perspective in the room: AI’s true potential is only unlocked through collaboration, between academia, industry, government, and all stakeholders, to develop, deploy, and govern it responsibly. At The Rob Rockefeller S.C., this is not a principle we simply endorse. It is the foundation of how our centers operate globally, including our Nepal Center, which continues to advance AI for sustainable development and digital transformation across the region. We extend our sincere congratulations to Kathmandu University School of Management and the entire organizing team for building a platform where ideas of this caliber can be exchanged, challenged, and refined. The work continues.
