Strategic Meeting in Bulgaria- Decarbonization & AI for Large-Scale Energy Production
Yesterday in Sofia, Our EVP Valentino Loforese had an important strategic meeting with Hristo Kovachki , one of the absolute national leaders in Bulgaria in the field of energy production.
The meeting took place at his headquarters, at TPP Bobov Dol , his main power plant and one of the most relevant energy facilities in the country.
During this meeting, through a first Memorandum of Understanding, we formally agreed on a strategic collaboration between Hristo Kovachki and our American company, The Rob Rockefeller S. C.
This collaboration is focused on the decarbonization of his industrial areas and power plants, using our strategic technology ( SIA ) for the capture of CO₂ and other gases directly from the air within his industrial environments. Alessandro Masiero Giuseppe Giovanni Nucera LLM – Ph.D 👍🏻
Once again, this project places decarbonization and sustainability at the center of large-scale industrial energy production, while maintaining operational continuity.
The engineering, development, and implementation of this technology will be handled by our Italian engineering centers 🇮🇹, which are fully responsible for this application.
In parallel, on the Artificial Intelligence side, we will study, design, and develop new AI software systems dedicated to improving energy production efficiency and reducing emissions across his power plants. This AI program will be coordinated by our Global Chief of Staff for AI, Umberto Colella 🧠👁️
This is a major strategic project, establishing a strong cooperation framework between Bulgaria 🇧🇬and the United States of America 🇺🇸 in the fields of artificial intelligence and environmental technologies, fully aligned with the European Union’s 🇪🇺 emission reduction programs.
It is therefore a strategic initiative for Bulgaria 🇧🇬 , the European Union 🇪🇺, and the United States 🇺🇸, represented in this case through The Rob Rockefeller S. C.
Our EVP was accompanied during this meeting by his Monegasque friend Andrew Shelepnytsky (Vice-President of The Monegasque ) 🇲🇨 and his friend Kalin Edrev (international businessman also involved in the security services of Bulgaria 🇧🇬)
