The RRSC Tunisia Advances Strategic Talks for AI and Decarbonization Center in Libya

From 5th to 7th May Our Tunisia Branch CEO Lassaad Kedimi, was in our representation in Libya 🇱🇾 to meet HEMFA GROUP ..

Our next probable partner of a branch and an AI / Digital center in Libya and the Libyan Ministry of Industry and Metal (with whom we have a signed agreement of strategic collaboration) and other Libyan state oil and energy companies. 🇺🇸🇱🇾🇹🇳🇹🇷

Our CEO Lassaad Kedimi met:

The CEO of HEMFA GROUP Mohamed Al Senoussi

Dr. Youssef Hamad: former Head of Sustainable Development and ESG at Shell Tunisia- Libya – Qatar for over 15 years),

Engineer Mohamed Al Abbar (Head of IT and AI of Hemfa Group )

The following points were discussed:

1: Creation of an AI / Digital / Cybersecurity Center

Mr. Mohamed Al Abbar, Head of IT and AI, presented the activities of Hemfa Group, which span several sectors:
Management, cybersecurity, administrative, industrial and military remote surveillance.

 

2: Decarbonization
Lassaad Kedimi presented the process already underway since November 2024 with the Libyan Ministry of Industry and Metals, which will culminate in an official mandate from RRSC Tunisia to supervise and assist the Libyan Ministry and Libyan oil and industrial companies.

Mr. Mohamed Al Senoussi, CEO of HEMFA GROUP, presented his group and its services for the implementation of governance, consulting, sustainable development, IT, AI and cybersecurity strategies.

He added that his group collaborates with several ministries and major Libyan companies, including the National Oil Company.

He also collaborated with several Libyan banks, both private and public.

He also stated that his group has been representing Microsoft in Libya for several years.

Mr. Al Senoussi concluded that his group has its own training center and that its high-level relationships in the public and private sectors allow it to win several contracts, especially in the oil and gas sectors.

Lassaad Kedimi was received at the National Oil Corporation

The collaboration between the NOC and The RRSC and the simulations were discussed.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be signed shortly in Tunis.

May 7

Lassaad Kedimi met with Mr. Hassan Chetioui (General Manager Ministry of Industry and Metals – President
Green Economy and Décarbonization Committee) regarding the 2025 Joint Action Plan document.
